School Board of Trustees
In Texas the School Board of Trustees oversees the running of the independent school districts throughout the state. The Westbrook Schools have seven members on their board. These elected positions receive no pay and yet spend many hours working with school administrators to provide the highest quality education possible for the students in Westbrook Schools. The members have created an environment where Westbrook Schools are an integral part of the community and the community is an integral part of Westbrook Schools.

1) The Westbrook Independent School District adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for Maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate.

2) The Westbrook Independent School District adopted a tax rate that will lower taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $20.00.
