Superintendent

The Superintendent is the driving force in the District. Superintendents must have real school experience, business and finance training, leadership skills, and a vision for tomorrow. They follow and lead the school and follow and lead the school board of trustees. They must understand all the staff positions in the district and demonstrate an ability to hire the perfect person for the job. Westbrook ISD found a man with all of these qualifications and a love for children.

Hello, my name is Todd Burleson, and I am fortunate enough to be able to work with, and lead our school district to high levels of achievement. Westbrook ISD is a shared vision and commitment of our entire learning community. Our students, staff, administration, school board, and parents are all committed to our students achieving excellence in every endeavor that Westbrook ISD undertakes. We encourage high levels of participation, while keeping academic achievement at the forefront of everything we do.
